Individual or Small Groups

Whether you are just stopping on your drive across Ontario, or coming on a day trip from Thunder Bay just follow the signs located all along HWY 11/17 from both East and West of the mine Site. No reservation required and admission is free! Use the map below to get accurate directions.

 

Large groups

If you have a big group coming, please let us know using the contact us page. We want to ensure your group has a seamless experience and gets the most out of their time with us. This will help us plan and schedule to suit your needs better.

 

School groups

Want to bring a group of students, reservations required. Call us and let us know how many are coming so we can be better prepared to provide you an exceptional experience. School group will need 1 chaperone per 4 students if the students are under 16 years of age, call for more details.

 

Visiting information

When Visiting remember to dress for the weather conditions. Good footwear like runners or hiking boots are best if you plan on climbing on the rock piles. It can be very hot & sunny so don’t forget sunscreen and insect repellent is a must have some days. We usually have some for sale in the shop if you need it. We supply pails & trowels for collecting and Boxes & paper for packaging when your done. If you have your own supplies thats great as well. We do allow you to use your own tools if you like, only hammers up to 2 lb max, no sledge hammers allowed. Safety glasses must be worn on site while using hammers and tools, please use extreme caution for yourself and other visitors.
